Silagra
Generic name – Sildenafil citrate
Silagra is a trade name for the drug sildenafil. It is commonly used for Erectile dysfunction (impotence). This is similar to its well-known brand Viagra. Apart from this your Physician may recommend you to take sildenafil if you have pulmonary arterial hypertension
Silagra act by increasing the diameter of your blood vessels and increasing the blood supply to certain areas of the body.
Silagra is a prescription medication in Sri Lanka and should not be used without doctors’ recommendations
You should not take silagra if you are taking other drugs which cause arterial dilatation. These includes but not limited to Nitrogycerine. Isosrbide dinitrate and Isosorbide mononitrate. These lethal combinations can crash your blood pressure.

In sri lanka Silagra 100mg and silagra 50 mg dosage forms are available
How to take Silagra
For sexual dysfunctions in males you should take Silagra 50 mg 30 minutes to 4 hours prior to intercose. Silagra should not be used more than once a day
For pulmonary hypertension it may use 2 to 3 times per day.
Be alert
If your erection last for more than four hours or develop sudden loss of vision  you should see your doctor immediately
